I've bee taking most of my blog posts on the deck of my house so while I was in Sandton with family, we decided to go on photography missions and somehow found ourselves at The Saxon Hotel. It's such a beautiful place. They're food is delicious but definitely not cheap.
This dress is stunning. It's one of, if not, my favorite dress in my entire wardrobe. The lace texture, perfect length and colour, high neckline and shape of the dress make it come together beautifully. I am definitely going to invest in buying more dresses like this because I wear this one too often (I can't help it).
The hat is my statement piece. I wear it with anything and everything. I haven't found a hat like it just yet but hopefully I will have a collection of hats by the end of the year.
I love these shoes so much. They have quite an interesting story. They were inspired by a movie called The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. This is how The Story began. We (myself and my friends: Cassie, Caitlin and Bianca) were at Cassie's house and decided to raid her wardrobe when we thought we had nothing to wear. As we pushed the clothe-filled hangers across the rails, we looked down and came across these beautiful shoes. We couldn't help but play dress-up but forgot about the shoes soon after. This get together happened again but, this time, and we couldn't take how much the shoes had been neglected! So I decided to help myself to them (thanks to Cassie) and begin the story of the travelling shoes. I don't think it will end very well because I know that I've already fallen in love with them. and also because travelling shoes aren't as hygienic as travelling pants but we'll see how it goes!
